Traditional Bulgarian brandy, rakia, made from different fruits and coloured with black mulberry chips. The most popular fruits for rakia preparation are grape, plum, and apricot, but other fruits, such as quince, pear, apples, figs, peaches, raspberries, and cherries, could also be used.
